Academy Cancellation Policy

A deposit is required to secure a training place and contributes towards course preparation, materials, practical arrangements and reserved training capacity.

Deposits are intended to be non-refundable in the event of student cancellation, subject to applicable consumer rights and fair cancellation charges.

Students must provide at least 7 full days' notice before their scheduled course to request a transfer to another available date.

Requests received with less than 7 days' notice will not normally qualify for a deposit transfer.

Where a course is cancelled, any retained payment or cancellation charge will be fair and proportionate to the losses incurred, taking account of costs saved and whether the place can be filled.

Failure to attend without notice will be treated as a cancellation, with any charges subject to the terms above.

If we cancel a course, students will be offered an alternative suitable date or a refund of payments for the cancelled training, as appropriate.

Nothing in this policy affects statutory consumer rights, including applicable cancellation rights for online or distance bookings.
