Terms & Conditions

The terms governing bookings, treatments, training courses, payments, and use of Body Confident Aesthetics Academy services.

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the services provided by Body Confident Aesthetics Academy (“we”, “us”, “our”), including aesthetic treatments, beauty services, training courses, and our website.

By booking a treatment, enrolling on a training course, or using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use our services.

We reserve the right to update or amend these Terms at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page and will take effect immediately upon publication. Continued use of our services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Definitions

“Treatment” refers to any aesthetic, beauty, or wellness service offered by our clinic.

“Course” or “Training” refers to any educational programme, workshop, or certification offered by our academy.

“Client” refers to any individual receiving a treatment or service from us.

“Student” or “Trainee” refers to any individual enrolled on a training course with us.

“Booking” refers to an appointment, reservation, or enrolment made with us for a treatment or course.

3. Bookings and Appointments

All treatments and services are by appointment. Whilst we accept walk-ins where availability permits, we strongly recommend booking in advance to secure your preferred time and treatment provider.

Bookings can be made through our website, by telephone, by email, or in person at our clinic. When making a booking, you agree to provide accurate and complete information about yourself.

We reserve the right to decline or cancel a booking where we believe a treatment may not be suitable or safe for you, based on the information provided during your consultation.

4. Consultations and Medical Suitability

Prior to receiving any aesthetic treatment, you will be required to complete a consultation and medical assessment. You must disclose all relevant medical conditions, current medications, allergies, previous treatments, and any other information that may affect your suitability for treatment.

Failure to disclose relevant medical information may result in adverse effects and may invalidate our liability. We reserve the right to refuse treatment where we deem it medically contraindicated or unsafe.

Certain treatments are not suitable for pregnant or breastfeeding individuals, or for those with specific medical conditions. Please inform us if any of these apply to you.

5. Cancellations and Rescheduling

If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please contact us at least 24 hours in advance. This allows us to offer the slot to another client and manage our schedule effectively.

Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice, or failure to attend a booked appointment without notice (“no-shows”), may be subject to a charge. Repeat no-shows may result in a requirement for prepayment for future bookings.

We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule appointments due to unforeseen circumstances, staff availability, or events beyond our control. Where we cancel, we will offer you an alternative appointment or a full refund where applicable.

6. Payments and Pricing

All prices for treatments and courses are as published on our website or as quoted at the time of booking. Prices are in pounds sterling (£) and are subject to change without prior notice, except for bookings already confirmed at a stated price.

Payment is due at the time of treatment unless otherwise agreed. For training courses, a deposit may be required to secure your place, with the balance due prior to or on the first day of the course.

We accept payment methods as displayed at our clinic or through our online booking platform. Deposits for training courses are non-refundable except where we cancel the course.

Any special offers, discounts, or package deals are subject to the terms specified at the time of the offer and may be withdrawn or modified at our discretion.

7. Treatments and Results

Aesthetic treatments and their results vary from person to person. We do not guarantee specific outcomes, as individual responses to treatment depend on factors including skin type, age, lifestyle, and adherence to aftercare advice.

You must follow all pre-treatment and post-treatment aftercare instructions provided by your practitioner. Failure to do so may affect your results and increase the risk of complications.

Some treatments require multiple sessions to achieve the desired result. Your practitioner will advise on the recommended number of sessions during your consultation.

Photographs may be taken before and after treatments for clinical records and, with your explicit consent, for marketing and portfolio purposes. You may withdraw consent for the use of your images at any time.

8. Training Courses

Our training courses are designed for practitioners and individuals seeking to develop skills in aesthetic and beauty treatments. Course content, duration, and pricing are as published on our website.

Enrolment on a course is subject to availability and, where applicable, meeting prerequisite requirements. Some courses require prior qualifications or experience.

Course materials, certification, and practical training are provided as part of the course fee unless otherwise stated. Certificates are issued upon successful completion of the course and any required assessments.

On-demand training videos are available for purchase separately and are licensed for personal, non-commercial use only. They may not be copied, redistributed, or shared with third parties.

We reserve the right to amend course content, dates, or venues. Where a course is cancelled by us, affected students will be offered a full refund or transfer to an alternative date.

9. Age Requirements

You must be at least 18 years of age to receive aesthetic treatments or enrol on training courses with us. Proof of age may be requested. For certain treatments, additional age restrictions may apply as advised during your consultation.

10. Client Conduct

We are committed to providing a safe, respectful, and professional environment for all clients, students, and staff. We ask that you treat our team and other clients with courtesy and respect at all times.

We reserve the right to refuse service, terminate a treatment, or ask any individual to leave our premises where their behaviour is abusive, disruptive, or poses a risk to others.

11. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss or damage arising from your use of our services, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of anticipated savings, or disappointment.

Our total liability for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific treatment or course that gave rise to the claim.

We are not liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations where such failure or delay is caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government action, or public health emergencies.

12. Website Use

Our website is provided for information and booking purposes. You agree to use it lawfully and not to misuse, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of it.
